Our High-Performance Coaching System
High-performance coaching is NOT a generalized coaching and leadership program that is going to provide you with a whole range of concepts that are difficult to understand and apply.
Rather, it is a tested and proven system for coaching people and teams to help them improve and reach their full potential. It is specifically designed to increase performance as well as employee engagement and will teach you simple and highly effective methods that you can use IMMEDIATELY.
StellaHP's High-Performance Coaching is the most comprehensive performance coaching system you will come across.
Components of our High-Performance Coaching System
Our Coaching system has three components.

1 - StellaHP Tutorial Center
The StellaHP Tutorial Center is the online learning component. It is made up of three introductory modules and seven core modules, which follow our 7 Disciplines of High-Performance Coaching

Group Coaching
During the online learning component, you will participate in coaching sessions for each module, where we will support you to make the learning relevant to your context (leadership and organizational use case) and coach you on how to apply it.
2 - StellaHP Coaching Center
The Coaching Center is an invaluable resource that will provide you with the technology tool to track your coaching conversations across your wider team. It will provide you with feedback that will allow you to make informed decisions on where to focus your time and attention.
This is an online portal that you can access anytime to track your coaching rhythm and conversations. It allows you regularly update your coaches at StellaHP, ask questions and share successes. We support you through the coaching center with live, interactive coaching and useful coaching resources.
3 - StellaHP Analytics Center
This is a game-changer!
In the absence of feedback, it is natural to assume we are doing the right thing. The purpose of the coaching survey is to have an index tool that will provide you with genuine feedback on the quality of your coaching. We run this 3 times a year, you will track your progress and growth based on up-to-date analytics. From this, we will support you to develop simple and effective Action Plans to keep improving and moving forward.

How to Coach
Much of what passes for coaching in business today is not coaching, it is simply criticism. Knowing how to coach is a true skill, and one we want to share with you. Coaching is situational, so it requires us to have a variety of coaching techniques to use depending on the situation.
A recent study carried out by the Corporate Executive Board found that only 21% of managers are good coaches. The same study also found that bad coaching will decrease performance twice as much as good coaching will increase it.
A separate piece of research conducted by Ernst and Young in 2016, found that workers at all levels, across all industries, could be 21% more productive every day if it was not for two things, specifically poor management and lack of motivation. The good news is that these can both be overcome by high-performance coaching.
What to Coach
This aspect of high-performance coaching is critical. There are two parts to it. The first part, is the performance measures you want to improve. Coaching is in part results-driven. It is about improvement, therefore it makes sense to identify and get clarity on the parts of your business you want to improve.
From here, you can begin to identify and coach the high-performance behaviors that drive these results. These are the critical actions that achieve the improvements you are looking for. This is the place where you will want to focus your day-to-day coaching on - the critical actions (behaviors).
When to Coach
The most powerful coaching conversations you can have with your staff are the day-to-day ones. Unfortunately, most managers consider coaching to be one of those things that only happens every now and then. Maybe at a bi-monthly or monthly one-on-one with their staff at best.
High-Performance Coaching is different. We view any moment as a coachable moment and therefore we can and should be coaching our staff at any point throughout the day.
Who to Coach
Everybody in your team can benefit from coaching. Making sure you provide the opportunity to coach everyone is important. Often, the people whose performance can be influenced the most, get no coaching at all.
Coaching Quality
In the absence of any form of feedback, it is natural to assume that what we are doing is working and that we are on the right track. Feedback will either confirm, or show us that we are not where we thought we were. Either of these is useful information as it gives us an informed perspective and provides us with information to make decisions moving forward.
As a part of our high-performance coaching system, you will ask for feedback from your staff every 4 months on your coaching quality. We then use this information to develop simple, yet powerful, leadership development plans that will take you on a journey of continuous improvement in your coaching.
StellaHP's High-Performance Coaching System Can Be Fully Integrated
Our system can be implemented regardless of any HR, learning or development systems (LDS), lean initiatives like continuous improvement (CI), Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), or Change Management like PROSCI, ADKAR (awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement) and Enterprise Organization Change Management (OCM).
Generally, these programs are expensive, suit very large organizations, have high admin/low agility, can turn into check-the-box functions, and vary in sustainable success. Regardless of your current performance position, we can help to enhance these initiatives or where none exist, get you to achieve improvements in areas of your organization that are not meeting performance objectives and results.
